Thank you for sharing your story with all of us because many couples don't think about situations like yours happening to them and the lack of legal rights they will have.. My partner Ted and I were just talking about this a few days ago, and it hit me that if he were to die, I probably wouldn't have the right to make many of the decisions he would want me to and I would end up losing many of our posessions..We've talked about living wills and life insurance on each other, but you have just confirmed my worst fear and we WILL do just as you and Thora did so that legally we both have the rights if or when one of us passes away...
